Colt receives RoSPA Order of Distinction Award 2019

Colt has been awarded the RoSPA Order of Distinction for Occupational Health and Safety performance in 2018. The order of Distinction is awarded as a result of achieving fifteen consecutive RoSPA Gold Awards. The next milestone in Colt’s sight is the RoSPA Patron’s Award, awarded for twenty-five consecutive RoSPA Gold Awards.

Through the RoSPA Awards scheme, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement. Awards are given to the best entries in 24 industry sectors with almost 2,000 yearly entrants. The awards are now in its 63rd year.

Colt is especially proud of this internationally recognised and highly-respected award, as it demonstrates its commitment to upholding excellent health and safety standards, and continuing to do so as standards have become more stringent and demanding. The plan to achieve the Patron’s Award further demonstrates Colt’s commitment and confidence in maintaining the current systems, while also being robust enough to evolve as client expectations and safety standards evolve around us.

Colt was presented the award during a ceremony at the ExCeL in London in June. Paul Jeffery (Senior HSE Advisor) was in attendance to accept the award. To congratulate the achievement further selected individuals were recognised for their contribution to health and safety by invitation to the evening Gala Dinner.
